The Abreu equation is a fourth order fully nonlinear elliptic differentiation. It prescribes scalar curvatures of the extremal metrics on toric varieties. In this talk, we discuss how to obtain basic estimates for its solutions.

韩青，美国圣母大学数学系教授，北京大学入选者。研究领域是几何分析和偏微分方程，在CPAM等顶级国际数学刊物发表论文多篇，出版了多部几何分析和偏微分方程方面的专著。
