报告摘要：In this talk, I'll give a general introduction to volume of representations and their motivation. Then I'll discuss the existence of such invariants for general family of Lie groups. This is joint work with Pierre Derbez, Hongbin Sun, and Shicheng Wang.

报告人简介：刘毅，2006年本科毕业于北京大学，2012年博士毕业于加州大学伯克利分校（UC Berkeley），2012年9月­—2015年6月为加州理工学院（Caltech）博士后，2015年7月成为北京国际数学研究中心副教授，2016年入选第十二批国家“”青年人才。刘毅在三维流形的拓扑及双曲几何等领域取得了非常突出的研究成果，其论文发表在 Invent. Math., J. Amer. Math. Soc., Duke Math. J., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., J. Topol. 等杂志。
