报告题目：A Survey of Shrinking Gradient Ricci Solitons

报告摘要：We discuss works on shrinking gradient Ricci solitons with an emphasis on some papers of Munteanu and Wang. They have made progress in all dimensions with some stronger results in dimension 4. These objects are interest to Ricci flow because they model finite time singularity formation.

报告人简介：Bennett Chow，美国加州大学圣迭戈分校教授。1986年在普林斯顿大学获得数学博士，先后在麻省理工学院、莱斯大学、纽约大学Courant研究所和明尼苏达大学担任讲师、副教授和教授等职位。他是几何流（特别是Ricci流）的专家。在Invent Math、CPAM和JDG等杂志发表论文多篇，并在美国数学会出版专著6部，Mathscinet显示被引用1500多次。
