1月4日-6日，由学院主办的代数几何学术研讨会在海韵园举行。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者谈胜利、孙笑涛、许晨阳等20余位代数几何专家参加了学术会议。本次会议由学院青年专家组织召开。

4日上午，会议举行简短开幕仪式，邱春晖副院长代表学院致欢迎词，对各位专家学者不远千里前来参加学术会议表示欢迎，并向与会代表介绍了我院的办学历史、学科建设、人才培养等方面的情况，预祝会议取得圆满成功。

本次会议共安排学术报告15场，分别是：许晨阳的《Stability on valuations of a singularity》、张磊的《Iitaka conjecture and abundance for 3-folds in char p》、江  智的《Some results on the eventual paracanonical maps》、谈胜利的《Poincaré problem and birational invariants of a differential equation》、龚成的《Classification of Belyi families of curves with two singular fibers》、李长征的《On the conjecture O of GGI》、李志远的《Cycles on moduli space of irreducible symplectic varieties》、誾琪峥《Cycles on the universal K3 surface》、余讯的《Elliptic fibrations on K3 surfaces and Salem numbers of maximal degree》、江辰的《Remarks on Kawamata's effective non-vanishing conjecture》、胡勇《Monodromy and period mapping around hyperplane arrangements》、孙浩的《Bridgeland stability of stable sheaves and its applications》、孙笑涛的《D-modules and étale fundamental group in char. p > 0》、瞿枫的《The virtual pullbacks formalism》、和孙鹏《On generalized cohomology theories and algebraic cobordism》。
